Farhan is a sophomore at Boston College majoring in computer science. He's interested in exploring industry opportunities but also in interdisciplinary sectors related to computer science. He is currently working on his own McNair funded research study in tandem with Dr. Emily Prud'hommeaux, researching natural language processing in the context of endangered languages.
His experience: - Worked one-on-one with Professor Schuyler Quackenbush (NYU) to implement/debug GUI for ARL Step, an A/B style program used to compare audio quality. - Interned at Goldman Sachs to learn key insights into the engineering process for development of programs
